Translations¶

Text resources are included into the locale folder under the ZRound installation path. I use the standard "gnugettext" so you can use a po editor -i.e. PoEdit tool (it's free) in order to edit texts.

There is a subdirectory for every supported language and the text resources are into LC_MESSAGES folders. The .po files are the basic text catalog, the ".pot" files are updates. Both of them are already mixed and updated for Spanish and English, other languages need someone to mix and update the text for the new items. Resource files are different for Championship Manager (gc.po/pot), Race Manager (zround.po/pot) and remote console (ZViewer.po/pot)

Steps to complete a translation¶

1. Open module .po file from the directory LC_MESSAGES of the desired country/language folder.
2. Update the translation with the .pot catalog file from the same directory.
3. Check translations with your po editor. There are notes about texto to not be translated. Source language is Spanish, you can check the English .po version (locale\en_US\LC_MESSAGES), If you can't speak Spanish, ask for help over support channels.
