====== What does ZRound need to speak? ======

ZRound only needs a SAPI compatible voice installed. SAPI is the Windows interface that allows any application to speech and an English voice (Sam) is ready to use in a standar installation.

To enable speech in ZRound follow these steps:

  - Open "Speaker" configuration page in ZRound
  - Check the "Activate SAPI 5.1" option
  - Select the voice you want to use.
  - Adjust the Speech Volume with the scroll bar at right (it only affects to speech)

  You can make a test by entering text into the "Test text" box, then click on the "Listen" button

If you want a better quality voice (and you will) or you need a voice in your language then you will need to add new voices to the system.

There are a lot of commercial products and prices. Most of them can be tested online, here you have some links.
