What does ZRound need to speak?

ZRound only needs a SAPI compatible voice installed. SAPI is the Windows interface that allows any application to speech and an English voice (Sam) is ready to use in a standar installation.

To enable speech in ZRound follow these steps:

1. Open “Speaker” configuration page in ZRound
2. Check the “Activate SAPI 5.1” option
3. Select the voice you want to use.
4. Adjust the Speech Volume with the scroll bar at right (it only affects to speech)

You can make a test by entering text into the "Test text" box, then click on the "Listen" button

If you want a better quality voice (and you will) or you need a voice in your language then you will need to add new voices to the system.
